Blue is incredibly supportive and knowledgeable! I was looking for a Taiwanese native speaker and wanted to focus on my tones and flesh out my Traditional character reading. Blue was the perfect find – she helps structure our lessons around fixing my tones, provides me with homework to practice speaking, holds me accountable for my goals, is flexible around my needs, and is a great source of insight into the Taiwanese dialect and Taiwan mannerisms. She is always super friendly and supportive (even with the really early lessons I schedule during her morning!). Thank you so much for your time and support Blue! I'm excited to keep learning together. :)

Blue is excellent at setting up learning plans to make sure you are not only learning what you need to meet your goals, but also understanding the basics of Mandarin. It's a very good balance and I feel like I'm advancing at a great pace. Blue is also very good at explaining words and their meanings along with how they relate to other words. With this, I feel like I'm gaining a good grasp of the language very quickly. Additionally, Blue shares fun facts that speak to what makes Taiwan so unique and special.

Just AMAZING 厲害的老師。 That’s how my first month with Blue went. I started with some Chinese knowledge (but little) and she adjusted our lessons to my learning pace immediately. Blue really takes into account where you come from and what you want to learn and prepares the lessons accordingly. After a month with her I feel as if I’ve reached a new milestone in my Chinese journey. Blue is not just a great and fun teacher but also super structured in her work and even creates a learning tracker for each student. With her I have no doubt I can reach a conversational level of Chinese. Looking forward to the next months!

Blue has been a great teacher so far. On top of specific lesson plans and source material, she’s helped with finding and documenting other learnings that are specific to my needs, as well as colloquial phrases and notes that are super useful. She is able to answer pretty much any question I have, and since everything is so organized, it’s easy to reference things and learn faster!
