Resumen del Programa

Learn Korean and experience winter in Seoul

The Lexis Korea Junior Winter Activity Program is a supervised seasonal study package for international teenagers who want to combine practical Korean-language learning with cultural immersion. The program is delivered at Lexis Korea's Gangnam campus, close to Gangnam Station in central Seoul, and welcomes learners at all Korean levels.

The next program start as 7 December 2026, with additional Monday starts through 15 January 2027. The junior package is designed for students aged 13 to 17, with flexible enrolment based on the available weekly intake and accommodation. Availability and the final departure date must be confirmed with Asia Pathway before booking.

Korean classes and weekday schedule

Students complete an online Korean placement test before arrival and join a class appropriate to their level. A typical weekday includes Korean lessons from 09:00 to 12:15, lunch from 12:15 to 13:15, and a supervised cultural activity or excursion from approximately 13:15 to 15:30. Lessons develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary and grammar in an interactive setting for young learners.

Winter activities

The activity plan changes by intake and weather conditions. It includes skiing, ice skating, winter sledding, K-pop dance, Korean cooking, taekwondo, traditional games and crafts, historical tours, palace visits, museums, Seoul Sky, N Seoul Tower, Lotte World, cultural exchange activities and other guided experiences around Seoul. Weekend activities may be optional and separately charged.

Homestay, meals and welfare

Participants stay with carefully selected local homestay families in a private room. The published junior package includes breakfast and dinner each day; lunch is not included. Lexis Korea provides on-campus welfare support, transportation for scheduled weekday activities and 24/7 assistance. Students must follow the program's junior conduct rules and host-family arrangements.

Package inclusions

The package includes airport pick-up and drop-off, course registration, Korean tuition and materials, scheduled weekday activities and the local transport used for those activities, homestay placement, private-room accommodation, breakfast and dinner, on-campus welfare support and emergency assistance. Personal spending, lunch, optional weekend excursions, insurance and any additional travel or medical costs are separate unless confirmed in writing.

The program is RW 1,890,000 for one week, KRW 3,040,000 for two weeks, KRW 4,100,000 for three weeks and KRW 5,160,000 for four weeks.

This program is a strong fit for teenagers seeking a structured first experience in Korea, beginners who want an encouraging introduction to Korean, continuing learners who want more speaking practice, and families who value supervised weekday activities, homestay immersion and local student support.

Lexis Korea

Seoul (Gangnam & Hongdae) and Busan

Lexis Korea is a specialist Korean-language school for international students, with three central campuses in Seoul and Busan. Its programs serve complete beginners through advanced learners and combine structured language instruction with cultural activities, academic counselling, accommodation support and practical help for living in Korea. The school has welcomed learners from 115 countries and won the ST Star Award for World Language School.

Students from Asia Pathway can choose Gangnam, Hongdae or Busan while following the same weekly curriculum and can request a supported campus transfer. The flagship Gangnam campus is at Seocho-gu, Seoul, steps from Gangnam Station; it has 31 air-conditioned classrooms, three student lounges, two computer labs and a rooftop garden. Hongdae is at Mapo-gu, beside Hongik University Station and AK Plaza. Busan is at Busanjin-gu, opposite Jeonpo Cafe Street and a short walk from Seomyeon Station.

The academic pathway runs from Foundation to Advanced, broadly aligned with CEFR A1 to C1/C2 and TOPIK I to TOPIK II. New students complete an online placement test before arrival.

Intensive Korean is the principal full-time option, running Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 15:30. Morning classes integrate speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary and grammar; afternoon skills classes and Friday options add practical communication and cultural learning. TOPIK Preparation follows the full-time timetable and adds exam strategy, mock tests, past-paper practice and teacher feedback.

Packages include round-trip airport transfer, registration, Korean tuition and course materials, weekday activities and local transport, homestay placement, a private homestay room, breakfast and dinner, on-campus welfare support and 24/7 assistance. Junior learners complete an online pre-test and join classes suited to their Korean level.

Lexis Korea is strongest for students who want flexible entry, measurable progress and a choice between Seoul's Gangnam and Hongdae districts or central Busan.
