Communication English develops grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and the four core language skills for academic, professional and personal communication. IELTS Preparation focuses on the four examination modules, test strategies and regular practice. PTE Preparation supports students preparing for the computer-based Pearson Test of English through targeted skills development and practice.

Course structure and options

• Communication English: full-time general English from Beginner through Advanced levels

Entry requirements

• Applicants must meet the minimum age and immigration conditions for their selected timetable and study length.
• Communication English placement is determined according to the learner’s current level.
• IELTS and PTE preparation require an appropriate minimum English level, assessed through accepted evidence or placement testing.
• Course availability and timetable suitability are confirmed before enrolment.

Tuition and additional fees

• Standard tuition: NZD 485 per week.
• Approximate 16-week tuition: USD 4,440 per semester.
• Material fee: NZD 15 per week, subject to the published minimum and maximum.
• Enrolment fee: NZD 260.
