• Freshman applicants must have completed, or be expected to complete, high school or an equivalent secondary qualification.
• Transfer applicants may qualify after graduating from a two- or three-year college in Korea or overseas.
• Applicants may also be considered for transfer after completing at least one academic year, equal to two semesters, at a four-year university.
• Academic records, nationality documentation and language evidence are reviewed by Kosin University.
• Final English-language and document requirements should be confirmed before submission.

Scholarship opportunities

International students may be considered for Kosin’s entry and academic scholarships. Available entry pathways include:

• TOPIK Level 3: up to a full first-semester tuition waiver.
• TOPIK Level 2 together with IELTS 5.5 or above: up to a 30% first-semester tuition reduction.
• Completion of six months at Kosin’s language institute together with the required internal TOPIK result: up to a 30% first-semester tuition reduction.
• Qualifying Kosin internal TOPIK achievement: up to a 20% first-semester tuition reduction.
• Continuing academic awards may be available based on university ranking, GPA and the applicable language conditions.

Tuition and student budget

Estimated tuition per semester: approximately USD 2,650, based on tuition of KRW 3,580,000 for the Natural Sciences category.

Students should also budget for the admission fee, accommodation, insurance, textbooks, visa-related expenses and everyday living costs.

A four-person university residence is approximately KRW 1,100,000 for six months. Room type, price and availability should be confirmed for the intended intake.
