Choose your business specialisation
International Business: Develop a grounding in strategy, marketing, finance, accounting, human resources and operations, with an international business perspective. This option suits students interested in understanding how organisations compete and work across markets.
IT Business: Explore the connection between business and technology, including data-informed decisions, information systems and digital innovation. This is a business-focused specialisation, rather than a computer engineering degree.
An English Track with Korean-language development
The English Track offers a route into business study without requiring Korean-track language proficiency for admission. The curriculum also includes compulsory Korean-language study, so it should not be understood as an entirely English-only degree. Students must meet the university’s academic and applicable English-language graduation requirements.
Entry requirements
- High-school graduation, or a qualification accepted as equivalent by Ajou University.
- The applicant and both parents must meet the university’s non-Korean nationality requirements for international admission.
- IELTS 5.5, or an accepted TOEFL iBT or NEW TEPS equivalent; specified English-speaking-country or schooling exemptions may apply.
- Academic records, graduation evidence, passport and family-nationality documentation, plus a personal statement and study plan.
- Document screening and an English-Track freshman admission interview.
These two freshman specialisations are not advertised as a transfer-entry route. Contact Asia Pathway if you have already started a university degree so we can check the appropriate Ajou admission option.
Tuition and scholarships
Estimated tuition per semester: USD 3,490 before scholarships.
Application fee: approximately USD 110, payable separately.
First-semester English-Track scholarships can reduce tuition by 30%, 50%, 70% or 100%, depending on the accepted English test score and scholarship conditions. Additional competitive and continuing-student awards may be available. Asia Pathway can help you assess eligibility; no scholarship is deducted from the displayed semester fee.
Accommodation, meals, insurance, textbooks and personal expenses are additional. USD amounts are rounded planning estimates. Ajou invoices fees in Korean won; exchange rates and university fees can change. Contact Asia Pathway for your current tuition quotation and scholarship assessment.
Career directions
Depending on your specialisation, experience and language skills, you may pursue opportunities in international business development, marketing, operations, digital-business coordination, information-systems support or further postgraduate study.
